SO. CONFUSED. No, Really.

I am so confused! What should I do? I'm in a dilemma!

What cupcake should I bake?

Anyways, there's this cupcake thing that I need to do by the end of March. My

cupcakes are gonna be auctioned off for my mom's hairdresser's friend's

husband, who has been diagnosed with cancer. I'm so excited! Well, not about

the cancer thing, about the cupcake thing. So I need to do twenty- four cupcakes

of my choice, with pretty decor and a flyer explaining why I even started baking.

Yippee!

I'm thinking a carrot cake cupcake with cream cheese frosting, pureed almonds

(yes, JUST ALMONDS, nothing else) to look like dirt on the top, and a fondant

carrot. How does it sound? Maybe I can even add something pretty that looks

like grass on the top, too.

My Trip so Far!

So far my trip has been WILD! I have been to Kerville, TX and church and Mexican Restaurants and the Blue Man Group! Not to mention the rodeo and stock show! It was so awesome, y'all!!! Can't wait for the reenactment of the Alamo!

Well, you couldn't really call the third excuse "tacky," but still... Wait, why am I calling myself tacky?!?! Whoa. Weird.

Anyways, I have traveled with my sister Lily to San Antonio, TX to hang with my lovely Papa and Mimi! So excited!!

Yoga Party!

Oh my Gosh! Today, Friday, my mom's FINALLY having her yoga party, and my cupcakes are ready to go. This is my personal debut to the ADULTS. My "Om" cupcakes would probably be pretty nervous, if they were human, like me... Like everyone reading this post... If THEY had to show off their own creations, I bet they'd be shaking. But right now, they just went into mouths, like, RIGHT NOW! Everyone loves the cupcakes! Well, the couple of people that have tasted them so far... Wish me luck!

omgiggles!! its a SNOW DAY!!! I mean, I don't really know why until my mom told me... the roads. Too slippery to drive! (THANK YOU ROAD GODS!) I'm so pumped! I have my worker chick Charlotte here with me today to manage my cupcake business with me! YUMMMY! My interview with her follows.

Hannah: How do you like your job here?

Charlotte: Good... It is fun... WHEN YOU SHOVE CUPCAKES UP MY FACE!

Hannah: Okay...

Charlotte:Whaddya wanna talk about?

Hannah: Well, I wanna talk about how many orders we've raked in! Your thoughts?

Charlotte: I have to say Ricky (our classmate) is our highest ranked customer. Don't you agree?

Hannah: Yes I do. Well, that wraps up today. BYEBYE!

Charlotte: And, SCENE.

MY MOUTH IS WATERING as I smell the delicious aroma of chicken drowning out my cupcake thoughts! 1 more order from Mom... 24 vanilla yoga cupcakes with a yellow buttercream frosting and a white circular piece of fondant with a deep red "OM" in Sanscrit. Yippee!

Cupcake by Cupcake!

My cupcake cooking has gone into WILD HYSTERIA!!! Everyone town-wide wants my cupcakes! Lets see, 5 cupcakes tomorrow, three on Wednesday... Well, that is, if we even HAVE school on Wednesday. There's this HUGE storm heading our way, promising to be both deadly, and school-stopping. I'M SO EXCITED! Today we stocked up at Wegman's. (BTW: Best Store EVA!) Cake Mix, Powdered Sugar, Cupcake Cups... Well, at least I stocked up.

Anyways, even Mom's friends want my cakes! One of her friends wants 24 at the end of March, specially decorated by me, with a typed-out little blurb explaining my story of how this all turned out. So pumped!

Hi. In case you don't know me, my name's Hannah, and I plan to post on this blog EVERYDAY to talk about my cupcake endeavors... I've been making cupcakes ever since December 31st on New Year's Eve. Mom and Dad wanted me to cook, and I squished the meaning of "cake" itself into the most minimal cake possible... The Cupcake. See, I've been making cake ever since January- I don't know, 3rd, 4th?- of 2010. It had been a YEAR, and my idol was still Duff Goldman (boss of Charm City Cakes in Baltimore). I stopped my interest in cake.

Well, now it came back, bit by bit.
